Marquee prices include walls, concrete feet for erection on paved areas, delivery, erection, dismantling and removal from site.
All our young people are fully insured under Scout Personal Accident and Public Liability insurance
All our equipment & tents that are hired out are fully insured under Scout Public Liability insurance
These are our current "charges" for Marquee hire and various other services to raise money for Explorer Scout Activities
All money raised goes as a direct donation to the Explorer Scout Unit,

PA Hire
Our professional PA equipment is available to hire for all types of events including parties, fairs and large social events. We use high quality equipment from the Peavey range including Messenger Pro15 Speakers, PV 1500 PA Power Amps (2000w) & PV10 Mixers.

We can also supply a generator with the PA & Lights for outdoor events where no mains supply is easily accessible.

If required we are able to supply a `DJ` for the event. Please note this will need to be arranged in advance. Specific song requests may also need to be requested in advance

Unfortunately, due to insurance restrictions a senior explorer must be in charge of the equipment at all times. If this is not suitable for you, a cash deposit of £800 will be applicable which will be refunded in full once the equipment has been returned in its original working order.

Notes about Site Security
In the event that any Tents & Equipment are in a publicly accessible place and left un-attended over-night,
and will not be guarded 7 x 24, an additional 25% high risk premium is added to the total bill, or possibly the hiring refused.
A Scouts 7 x 24 Tent Guarding Service (strictly Scout equipment only) is available as a special one-off quotable service.
Rates vary depending on numbers needed, location, duration, risk-level, time of year and will always involve an 1 adult leader.
Minimum 3 weeks advance notice will be required to setup this service.
Scout Trailer (Two 10 x 5 open trailers or a double horsebox) Services (for legal and environmentally friendly disposal)
(Note: Horsebox = 2 x Trailer Loads)
Trailer for Garden & Domestic waste and transport £50 £40

Scout Waiter Services
Strictly by prior arrangement with the Scout Leader only.
Scouts in black trousers, black shoes and white shirts (or Scout Uniform if customer prefers)
will attend an event and "wait" on the guests, silently and quickly clear unwanted plates and glasses away, tidy up etc
Payment is strictly negotiated in advance by a leader.
A Leader will attend at the beginning and then end of the event, and will deliver Scouts and collect Scouts.
An nominated adult at the event must take responsibility for the Scout WaitingTeam, organising them and looking after their welfare until the leader returns.
A Leader can stay for the whole event if available and specially requested.
