The Roger King International Fund is to
facilitate participation in International Scouting experiences outside of the
UK for individuals who, for financial reasons, might otherwise be excluded from
this important aspect of Scouting. Any member of Berkshire Scouts is eligible
to apply. It is able to make awards up to a value of 100 pounds

applying for Grant Aid to HQ please include the following information:
If the grant
application is for over ₤500 it should also be approved by your CC and
you should include a copy of your audited annual accounts.
The above list
is simply a guideline of what should be included. Some of the sections may not
apply to you. Please feel free to include any other information that you feel
is relevant to the funding.
Scout
HQ: Ralph Reader Memorial Fund
The purpose of the fund is to assist
deserving individual members of the Scout and Guide Movements under the age of
20 years, who may be in need and whose parents or family may be having
difficulty in raising the necessary money required.
Grants may be given towards the cost of
camp fees, Scout or Guide uniform, travel to Scout or Guide events, career
training or for any other approved purpose:

To assist Scouts to attend Scout functions

HQ: Scout Group Support Fund
(Formerly Needy Groups Fund)
If you are making preparations and
planning your camps for 2006, then don`t forget if you have an individual
member who maybe finding it difficult afford the cost of the camp, then apply
to the Scout Group Support Fund (previously known as the Needy Group Fund) to
obtain funding of up to 50% of the cost. The application form is simple to fill
out and only needs the authorisation of your DC. The individual member does not
even have to be aware. Go to www.scoutbase.org.uk
click on `Funds and Grants`, click Headquarters Funds `more`, and then go to
`application forms`. There you can download the application form. Or email us
or give us a call and we will send you the appropriate application form.
Scout
HQ: Treloar Fund
Support for disabled facilities was set up
to assist individual special needs Scouts and the general development of
Scouting for those with special needs. It will also help provide disabled
facilities in Scout buildings.
To obtain an application form go to www.scoutbase.org.uk click on
Fundraising, then click on Funds & Grants, then click on Headquarters Funds
more. Then click on Application forms. The Treloar fund application form will
come up as a pdf. file this can then be printed off.

Group Funding for Community Groups
Organisations may apply for grants of
between ₤100 and ₤5,000 .Community groups applying need to share
the Co-op`s values of self-help, social responsibility and caring for others.
Groups applying could be environmental groups, young people, people with
disabilities, playgroups, elderly people, credit unions and education projects.
If your project meets the criteria, simply complete the Community Dividend
application form in the leaflet. You may include no more than two sides of A4
supporting information such as budget and a clear timetable to complete the

The
Leslie Sell Charitable Trust
The trust makes small grants (usually up
to ₤1500 to help with the cost of Equipment, repairing HQ and Camps.
Applicants are advised to show evidence of their own fundraising when

The National Trust

Trust is keen to work with local groups for mutual advantage giving educational
opportunities to arts, youth or environmental groups. Projects or events may in turn attract

If
your Group is based in an area in which the Co-op trades there a number of ways

UK Villages Community Kitty.
UK
Villages Community Kitty is a fund from which a number of grants from between
£50-£500 are allocated to community projects. These are awarded twice

is an independent charitable foundation and distributes over £3 million in
grants each year. BF has announced that
its Strengthening the Voluntary Sector grants programme is now open to

The
Tesco Charity Trust Community Awards ensure that the majority of the Trust’s
grants are targeted towards local communities
Community
Awards benefit local organisations whose core work supports children’s
education and welfare, children and adults with disabilities,

elderly people. They aim to give around £360,000 each year through the
Community Awards scheme. Awards are one-off donations and range between £

NEW: Local Network Fund for
Children and Young People
The
above fund provides grant to small, local community groups in England to
support vulnerable children and young people. The fund aims to counter child
poverty and youth disadvantage by providing opportunities for children and
young people to achieve their potential. Minimum Grant is £250 and maximum is

NEW: Awards for All
This
will fund projects that enable people to take part in art, sport, heritage and
community activities as well as projects that promote
education,
the environment and health in the local community. The money can be spent on a broad range of
activities and materials including putting on a performance, running a
conference, professional fees, research costs
and health and safety equipment.
The new lower limit it £300 and the upper limit has been doubled to
