Young Leader Training Weekend 2008

The 2008 Young Leader training will take place over the weekend of Saturday the 8^th and Sunday 9^th March, and is open to all YL’s in the County (subject to available places).

The cost of this weekend will be £20 per YL, including a £5 non-refundable deposit, to be sent with the return slip below, and the remainder due by Friday 22^nd February. (Cheques payable to Loddon District Explorer Scouts)

The modules covered over this weekend will be:

·        Module G – Programme Plans

·        Module H – Programme Plans Plus

·        Module J – Awards and Badges

·        Module C – That’s The Way To Do It!

·        Module E – Game On!

Please see the attached programme for more details.

Any YL’s who will not have already completed Module A – Prepare for Take Off! Will need to attend a Module A ‘Make up’ module during the week. If this is you, please indicate below which evenings you would be available.

·        Any ‘spare’ time may be used to learn Programme ideas based on the Global Awareness Project (GAPP)

·        A Certificate of Achievement will be awarded to each Young Leader at the end of the weekend, detailing all modules completed.

·        Any Young Leader who has already completed a module is welcome to either take part in it again, or to assist in the running of that module – please let me know if you would like to help with any of the modules.

·        The cost of this weekend will be £20 per Young Leader and will include all meals, camping fees and training materials.
